There's of course "The Misfits," which you mentioned. There's also the Clint Eastwood-directed "Honkytonk Man," which features a prominent shot of the Union Hotel. Also, there's a movie called "The Wizard," where Beau Bridges and Christian Slater share a scene with a shot of the courthouse in the background.<br /><br />Speaking of the courthouse, when I was a kid, there was a sign that covered the famous Tahoe Beer logo on the wall. My history teacher said it was placed there because people didn't think it was appropriate to display an ad for alcohol on the side of a government building.
